Trauma / Stress / Addiction / Mental Health
Occupational stress and trauma cause many veterans, active-duty military, and first responders to misuse alcohol, tobacco, and substances, and in some cases, develop addiction. Our immersive, outpatient IOP is just as effective as inpatient treatment.
There’s one big difference between Kolmac and other treatment centers, though:

Veterans, active-duty military, and first responders can participate in a Kolmac addiction treatment program – including Detox – without leaving family or work for an extended period.
Kolmac is in network with Humana Tricare, Veteran Affairs Community Care Network (VACCN), and other national payers that insure veterans, active-duty military, and first responders.
Our IOP and PHP programs for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders include:
- Mitigation/reduction of the impact of AUD/SUD on security clearance
- Virtual and in-person outpatient care
- Consultation with EAPs and comprehensive return-to-work evaluations while maintaining maximum confidentiality
- As-needed individual psychotherapy to address trauma, work-related stress, and family issues
- Access to our Alumni Program
- Access to Veterans or First Responders Support Group led by a First Responder in recovery
